Foreign Artists

The scholarship program allows artists to apply for partial funding of the program. The scholarship applies up to 25 percent of the cost of the program.

The standard program fee is 1,000 USD, application of a scholarship can entitle the participants up to 25% ( percent discount) on the total amount of the fee, by this meaning it could be less than the percentage previously said, depending on the committee’s election and number of applications. 

Details of the process 

The artist will go through two different processes: the first is being selected as a candidate for the Creative Studio Program Residency, once the jury has made its selection, the artists who applied to the scholarship need to take part of a second selection process that implies an interview with the scholarship committee, stage of proofs; request letter and requirement form review.  The funded program will accept a maximum of 1 artist in each group.

In addition to the  application form (PDF file), the candidate should attached the folllowing documents: 

1. Requirement form (Foreign Artists)

2. Request letter, explaining why they need a scholarship 

The candidate that does not attach the requirement form and a letter of request to the main pdf document of the application of the program will not be accepted and the jury only will consider for the standard application of the program without no exceptions.

Mexican Artist

The scholarship program allows Mexican artists to apply for partial funding for the program. The scholarship applies up to 40 percent of the cost of the program.

The standard program fee is 20,000 MXN, application of a scholarship can entitle the participants up to 40% ( percent discount) on the total amount of the fee, by this meaning it could be less than the percentage previously said, depending on the committee’s election and number of applications. 

Details of the process
